剧情介绍：自强不息 毅力与奋斗中的年轻人 光辉而闪耀的年轻一生台湾云林县口湖乡后厝村的一个农家,生下一个小腿萎缩,脚板上翘,双足畸形的男孩郑丰喜.他六岁时,跟走江湖耍猴卖药的赵老伯流浪他乡,乞食糊口,八岁时跟哥哥在离家数里外的鸭寮放鸭,一次遇到风雨和大水,几乎被淹死.他刻苦努力读完中学,并以优异成绩考上中兴大学法律系.在中学戴校长和矫正医院徐院长的支持鼓励下装上假肢后,更不怕摔破手脚,学会骑自行车上学.他的坚强毅力和顽强奋斗的精神感动了同校法律系女同学吴继钊.他们相爱了.但继钊的父母坚决反对这门婚事,断然将女儿关在家里,不准她上学.后虽同意她继续上学,但不许她与丰喜来往,并令其表兄吕良仁暗中监视.一日,强大台风袭来,市民纷纷离家逃难.水已淹没丰喜的床和坐椅,房屋亦有倒塌危险.在这危急时刻,继钊冲破表兄的阻挠去救丰喜.在狂风暴雨中他们紧抱在一起,发誓永不分离.大学毕业后,他们结为夫妻,一同到丰喜的家乡.丰喜在中学任教,并将自己的经历写成自传体小说《汪洋中的一条破船》,发表后反响强烈.丰喜的事迹在台湾广为流传,他遂被评为台湾十大优秀青年之一.正当中秋节全家团聚时,得知丰喜已患肝癌.乡民为他举行万人祈祷大会,求神佑其康复,但终因医治无效而病逝,年仅三十二岁.
